If you are a seller, should you sell your house to a buyer who is unrepresented by that what I mean, a buyer who does not have their own agent, you should be very cautious about that. Because a buyer who is not represented, they have not been educated about the whole buying process, especially in today’s market. They don’t even know what offer terms they need to put in in order for their offer to get accepted. They may not even be pre qualified, a pre approved, and they may not even have their financing in order to be able to show you their proof of funds.
So whenever I’m a listing agent, I always advise to my sellers that I may be making more money ifI represent a buyer who is not represented. But it is not to the best interest of the seller, because it could definitely jeopardize the deal. And in order for you to have a very smooth transaction, you want to make sure you pick an offer with a buyer who has a very good, experienced agent. So you know the deal will go very smoothly with no headache.
