Cathedral Catholic High School is located at 5555 Del Mar Heights Road, San Diego.
It is a Diocesan Catholic co-educational and college preparatory high school. Cathedral Catholic High School is accredited by the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA), the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and holds membership with the College Board.
The academic year is divided into two semesters. Each semester consists of 35 units (7 classes). The school follows a daily rotating schedule. Students meet for three classes on Monday, and four classes per day Tuesday–Friday. This school offers Honors and Advanced Placement courses in English, Languages, Mathematics, Science and Social Science. It also has a Learning Center for students with learning differences.
