Cardiff Park is a townhome-style community of 79 homes at the south end of Cardiff-by-the-Sea, just east of I-5. Homes line Sea Village Circle, reached from I-5 via Birmingham Drive East and Lake Drive. The community was built in 1986-1987. Homes have Mediterranean/Spanish-style exteriors, Spanish tile roofs, and attached 2 car garages. Floor plans are mostly 2-3 bedrooms with 2-3 baths, at 1,272-1,885 sq ft. Lot sizes vary widely, from roughly 3,000-8,700 sq ft.
Residents share a heated pool, spa, BBQ area, and recreation space. The beach is about 1 mile away, and the community is close to Encinitas Community Park, the San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve, and Cardiff State Beach. For groceries and dining, Seaside Market at 2087 San Elijo Ave in Cardiff Town Center is open daily and is famous for its “Cardiff Crack”. Cardiff Plaza, Coast Highway 101, downtown Encinitas, and Cardiff’s Restaurant Row are all nearby. I-5 is a short drive via Birmingham Drive. The Cardiff School District serves the area, with Cardiff School and Ada Harris School, followed by Oak Crest Middle School and San Dieguito High School Academy in the San Dieguito Union High School District.
The Cardiff Park HOA is around $300 per month. It covers front yard water and landscaping, common hardscape such as sidewalks and roads, and the community pool and spa. Homes here start at $2.3M.
