Montecito is a guard-gated community of 36 homes located along Caminito Providencia in the Rancho Santa Fe area of San Diego. The neighborhood was built in 1985 by builder Ray Watt (the same developer behind neighboring Fairbanks Ranch) and is considered one of the 3 “Villages” of Rancho Santa Fe. Homes throughout Montecito share a Spanish Mediterranean architectural style, with stucco exteriors and tile roofs. Homes in Montecito range from approximately 2,312-3,550 square feet, with 2-4 bedrooms and 2-4 bathrooms depending on the residence.
